SPECIFICATIONS
City-Gates Model CGDADE rolling steel doors are constructed
to Dade County, Florida wind load requirements to withstand
187 mph winds. The CGDADE rolling door is not only ideal
for standard protection against theft and vandalism,
but it is also designed to withstand pressures of +/-
60 psf.
CGDADE rolling door curtains are available in a standard
3” flat or 3” curved slat profile with end
locks and wind locks according to Miami Dade County
Code
Curtains constructed from 20 gage galvanized steel
slats with end locks and wind locks.
Bottom bars constructed from galvanized steel or 3/16
double angle iron with slide bolt locking devices
Guides are constructed from hot rolled steel that are
attached with pre-punched mounting angles every 14”
on center
Spring systems are counter balanced not less than 50,000
cycles Brackets are constructed from 3/16 steel plate
Hoods are constructed from 24 gage galvanized steel
in a hexagon or square shape
All doors can be push-up, removable hand-crank, chain
hoist or motor
operated.
All operators can be adapted to specific conditions
(Dust Proof, Water Proof, Explosion Proof)
Standard locking device is one set of slide bolts on
coil side located on the bottom bar.(Padlocks not included)
City-Gates Model CGDADE rolling doors are designed
with specified wind load designs and are in the process
of being performance validated through third party testing
to the following performance criteria:
