Jennifer Shaer, MD, FAAP, IBCLC
Dr. Shaer graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed a pediatrics residency at Albert Einstein / Montefiore Medical Center and was chief resident at Jacobi Medical Center. Dr. Jennifer Shaer is a pediatrician, board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. She is founder of the first breastfeeding medicine practice on Long Island. Dr. Shaer is dedicated to helping nursing mothers achieve their breastfeeding goals. She has been practicing pediatrics since 1999 and breastfeeding medicine since 2005. |

Fatema Meah, MD, FAAP
Dr. Meah graduated from Albert
Einstein Medical School. She
continued her pediatrics residency
at the same institution
and went on to serve as chief
resident at the Children’s Hospital
at Montefiore. She is a
board certified pediatrician and is an Assistant Professor
of pediatrics at Albert Einstein. In addition
to practicing general pediatrics, she is director of
Undergraduate Medical Education at Flushing Hospital. |

Rogelio S. Lao, MD, FAAP
Dr. Rogelio S. Lao has been
a practicing pediatrician in
Riverhead since 1969. He
graduated medical school
from St. Tomas University
in the Philippines and
trained at Brooklyn Jewish
Hospital in pediatrics. He is affiliated with Peconic
Bay Medical Center and is a member of the Suffolk
Pediatric Society as well as a fellow of the American
Academy of Pediatrics. He is board certified in pediatrics. |

Jennifer Pintiliano, MD, FAAP
Dr. Jennifer Pintiliano graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical School in 1998. She completed her residency at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in 2001. She is a board certified pediatrician with a strong interest in breastfeeding medicine and medical education. In addition to practicing general pediatrics, she is the Associate Chairperson of the Department of Pediatrics at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn. Dr. Pintiliano is a member of the Breastfeeding Executive Committee for NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation and the Executive Committee for the American Academy of Pediatrics, New York Chapter 2. |

Michelle Wruck, PNP-BC
Michelle, has been a pediatric
practitioner since 1978. She is
a graduate of Beth Israel Medical
Center School of Nursing,
St.Joseph's College and Stony
Brook University School of
Nursing. Her expertise in pediatrics
is in the home management of medically fragile &
technology dependent children. She also has expertise
in managing asthma, obesity and adolescence. She
has been board certified in pediatrics since 1993. |

Janice Shaer,
RD, MA, CDN
Janice Shaer has been a practicing registered dietitian in New York State for many years. Her career encompasses research, teaching, and individual nutritional counseling. She was an Associate Professor at Rockland Community College for 13 years. She currently provides nutrition consultation for schools, health care facilities and private patients. She received her Dietetic Internship from Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, and her MA in nutrition from New York University. |
