PORCELAIN VENEERS

INLAYS & ONLAYS

If you have slight tooth decay an inlay is an excellent option for restoration. For moderate decay, an onlay is recommended. The difference is an inlay covers a small decay area while an onlay covers more of your chewing surface, known as your cusps. Doctors’ Daniela Spector and Yuval Spector will remove and clean the decayed area, make an image and then create the porcelain inlay/onlay that is affixed to the prepared surface of your tooth.

PORCELAIN CROWNS

A crown is a tooth-like covering placed over an existing tooth that has structural damage or severe decay. Crowns serve many functions. BONDING

Bonding can yield dramatic results in a single office visit. Essentially, bonding hides any natural flaws through the placement of a thin plastic coating on the front surface of the teeth. After treating the tooth surface a bonding material is applied which is then sculpted, shaped and colored to suit your individual needs. A high-intensity light causes the plastic to harden after which the new surface is smoothed and polished. Bonding can lighten stains, close gaps and even alter crooked or malformed teeth. It can be utilized to change the shape or color of a single tooth or if necessary to reconstruct the entire smile.
